You can see the plat which I obtained from the Hopkins Country Property and Valuation today to see just exactly where our home is located. Lot dimensions are forty feet wide and one-hundred-ninety feet deep. While narrow and the house and garage take up most of the lot, it has about fifty feet between the house and garage for a courtyard backyard. The maintenance for this yard isn't much as mowing is minimal. There is a raised bed with three areas for planting. A large tree shades part of the yard with an apple and a pear tree as well which bore nicely last year for us.
This end of Main Street is quiet with little traffic because the thoroughfare from Hwy 41 turns at Robinson just three houses down to go back into Hwy 41 heading back into Madisonville. This end is also a dead end into a beautifully wooded lot where a nice older home sits nestled in amongst the trees.
