Secrets the Butler Knew...

Have you ever used a Butler's pantry? Our home has a solid wood~I assume oak, but whatever it is, it is original to the home...AND the Butler knew all the secrets of just how wonderful this is for the kitchen!

Things the Butler Knew:

1. Loads of storage
Two side cabinets with shelves with tall openings to hold anything. I've stored a blender, bread machine and more! Tall enough for good use...and I've stored dry goods such as flour and sugar as well as all my canned goods. Also I used it to store decorative dishes for entertaining. This would have been a use too that would have concerned the Butler. He would want instant access to everything including table linens.

2. Veggie bins (two) for onions and potatoes! AND they keep so well in there for longer than you can imagine!

3. Swinging door is decorative yet practical. No Butler wants his secrets discovered as he prepares to do his job!

4. Interior room for storm protection!

5. Open shelves to display pretty pieces between cupboards. There is a work surface over the veggie bins and lower cabinetry for more storage as well!

Yes, the Butler had his secrets in his pantry! NOW they can be yours...
